Sussexes Embrace LA Life: Parties, Projects, and Poppies

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making notable appearances in the Los Angeles area, hinting at a growing presence in the entertainment capital.
Spotted at Kris Jenner's 70th Birthday Bash
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly among the esteemed guests at Kris Jenner's milestone 70th birthday celebration held in Beverly Hills. Paparazzi captured glimpses of the royal couple arriving at the exclusive event, with reports from various entertainment news outlets confirming their attendance.
The Sussexes were photographed in coordinated all-black outfits, suggesting they may have transitioned directly from another high-profile engagement. It's believed they were coming from the West Hollywood Baby2Baby Gala, an event where Meghan's close friend, Serena Williams, was honored for her impactful work in maternal health advocacy. Other prominent figures from their wider Hollywood connections, including media mogul Oprah Winfrey and acclaimed filmmaker Tyler Perry, were also seen at Jenner's party.
Notably, at both events, Prince Harry was seen wearing a remembrance poppy on his suit jacket, a poignant gesture ahead of Remembrance Day and Veterans Day, observed on November 11th.
Recent LA Engagements and Family Life
This party attendance marks just one of several recent sightings of the couple around Los Angeles. In the weeks leading up to these events, they were also observed enjoying a baseball game, cheering on the Dodgers, Meghan's hometown team, during Game 4 of the World Series.
The couple has established their family home in Montecito, California, where they reside with their two young children, Archie, aged six, and Lilibet, aged four.
Meghan's Hollywood Comeback and Business Ventures
There's significant buzz surrounding Meghan's potential return to acting. Reports suggest the former "Suits" star is set to take on a small role in an upcoming film titled "Close Personal Friends." This Amazon MGM Studios project is slated to feature a star-studded cast including Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding, with Meghan reportedly portraying herself.
Beyond her acting prospects, Meghan has been actively developing her business venture, As Ever. Launched in April, the brand recently unveiled its debut holiday collection, which included a subtle and touching tribute to her husband of seven years.
Harry's Continued Advocacy for Youth Mental Health
Meanwhile, Prince Harry remains deeply committed to championing youth mental health, a cause close to the couple's heart. In October, both he and Meghan were recognized at the Project Healthy Minds' World Mental Health Day gala for their significant contributions. Their work through The Archewell Foundation Parents' Network, a support community dedicated to fostering a safer online environment for children, was specifically highlighted for its positive impact.
